Cassidy L. Somers
Bio
Cassidy Somers joined Walker Lambe in the spring of 2026 and is an associate of the Trust and Estate Administration group. A native of Cary, Cassidy earned her undergraduate business degree, magna cum laude, from North Carolina State University and her Juris Doctor, with Honors, from The University of Tennessee College of Law.
Prior to joining Walker Lambe, Cassidy served as a Higher Education Legal Fellow at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as a member of the University Business Operations Team. Following the completion of her fellowship, she joined a national law firm in Raleigh, where she practiced in the Health Care Transactions, Regulatory, and Telemedicine group. Her practice included transactional work as well as some litigation matters including professional liability defense and representation of professionals in board complaint matters.
Cassidy is excited to join the Walker Lambe team and to serve clients and her community. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, watching the Carolina Hurricanes, and playing pickleball.
