Jennifer Dalman

Jennifer Dalman has been with Walker Lambe since 2005, originally as a legal assistant, and later as an associate attorney after her graduation from law school. She is now a member attorney and the managing partner of the firm’s estate planning department. Through her years of practice, Jennifer has had the opportunity to help thousands of area families with their legal needs.

A native of Granville County, North Carolina, Jennifer earned her undergraduate degree from Duke University and her law degree from UNC Chapel Hill (so she can cheer for either shade of blue). While in law school, she earned the highest grades in her class in Estate and Gift Tax, Partnership Tax, and Family Wealth Management. She distinguished herself as an effective oral advocate, winning a Gressman-Pollitt Best Overall Oral Argument Award and being selected as one of four students to represent UNC Law at the Middle Temple Appellate Advocacy competition in London. She was a member of the Holderness Moot Court Client Counseling Team, an active member of Women in Law, and participated in various pro bono projects, including power of attorney clinics, the Election Protection coalition, and a research committee for the Uniform Law Commission.

In addition to her busy law practice, Jennifer enjoys giving back to the community through volunteer and pro bono activities. She currently serves on the board of directors for the Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill, Jiti Foundation (currently serving as Treasurer), and the North Carolina Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (currently serving as Chair). She has previously served on the board of directors for COPE Eldercare and Miracles in Sight.

In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her husband Ryan, sons Alex and Oliver, and cat Atticus.
